Opening scene

The heavy oak doors of the Temple of Selar are locked. Inside, High Priest Adrian lies dead on the marble altar, his throat slit. There are no weapons in the room, and the windows are barred. The only key to the doors is in the pocket of the dead priest.

World atmosphere

The cathedral city of Saint Selar. The temple is a place of pilgrimage and political power. The priesthood is divided into conservative and reform factions, both vying for control of the temple's vast wealth.

Ticking clock

The annual procession starts in six hours. The body must be removed and the case solved before the gates open.

Your hero will have their own personal connection to this story — it's chosen at random when you create your character.

What is a "Detective" scenario

This is an investigation scenario. You gather clues, interrogate suspects, check alibis, and clear the innocent. The AI runs the game according to the genre's rules: every turn gives you a new lead, but it will never name the killer first — the ending only arrives once you point to the right person yourself and have gathered enough evidence.
