Opening scene
The sky is a sheet of crimson. You stand on the ridge overlooking the valley of Oakhaven. Below, the village burns, and a massive red dragon, Ignis, circles the peak of Mount Wyrmtooth. The heat is intense, and the air is filled with ash and the screams of the fleeing villagers.
World atmosphere
Wyrmtooth Mountain is an active volcano that has been dormant for centuries. The surrounding valley was a peaceful farming region. The dragon has recently taken over the dwarven ruins inside the mountain.
Ticking clock
The dragon is preparing to launch a final assault on the capital city in three days.
