You woke up in the crypt of a dead king. You hold a scroll with his signature. The guard is already breaking the door.
The cold of the stone floor. The smell of damp dust and old incense. You open your eyes in the crypt of King Edwin III, dead for two hundred years. Above you is his sarcophagus with a slightly open lid. In your right hand is a scroll sealed with the king's personal signet. Boots clatter down the corridor—the Cathedral Guard, and they are shouting your name.
The capital of Oldrain is a city where royal power has formally passed to the Council of Seven, but no one believes the real threads are in their hands. The Cathedral Guard reports directly to Cardinal Vese, whose lodge is located right above the crypt. In the capital they say that King Edwin was poisoned—but the names of the killers were never revealed.
The guard is two flights of stairs away. It will take five minutes at most to break the old crypt gate.
Your hero will have their own personal connection to this story — it's chosen at random when you create your character.

It's a text-based RPG you can start playing right away — no prep, no need to find a Game Master. Solo — just you and the AI. With a friend — two players in the same story by invite.
