Opening scene

Your cargo bay doors close. The diplomatic pod from the High Council rests in the center. A quiet hum vibrates through the floor plates. As you inspect the container, you notice the security seal is snapped, and a dark, viscous liquid is slowly seeping from the seam.

World atmosphere

The cargo ship Star Runner is en route to the capital world Prime. The journey requires crossing several pirate-infested sectors. The ship's systems are old but reliable, managed by a small crew.

Ticking clock

The ship enters the capital sector in eight hours, where security forces will board for customs.

Your hero will have their own personal connection to this story — it's chosen at random when you create your character.
